Named after legendary author Joseph Conrad, this elegant suite is the only one of our Authors' Suites to feature its own terrace, overlooking our lush gardens and the sweeping Chao Phraya River. Siam Suite
Inspired by the beauty of Northern Thailand, this exquisite two-bedroom suite features elegant living and dining spaces, two large bedrooms and a teak panelled foyer. Furnished with antiques from Chiang Mai, magnificent Persian carpets and a varied art collection, the suite is both beautifully appointed and eminently comfortable. Selandia Presidential Suite
Named after the legendary ship The Selandia, our Presidential Suite is beautifully decorated in hues of pale ivory set against a background of hazy blues and rich scarlets. Furnished with silk draperies throughout, every detail from brass-cornered tables to the plush seating has been carefully thought out and the overall result is one of luxurious elegance. The suite’s master bedroom features a pair of crystal and silver bedside lamps, while the adjoining bedroom suite pays homage to the great ship with teak floors, panelled walls and ivory cotton draperies. Heritage Authors Suite
Located in our original Authors' Wing, these magnificent high-ceilinged suites celebrate three of the great writers who have stayed here. Reflecting the colonial character of the original hotel, the three suites - Somerset Maugham, Noel Coward and James Michener – have been individually designed to reflect the author’s personality, while all feature spacious bedrooms and lounge areas as well as Victorian-style marble bathrooms with walk-in showers and separate baths.
